Commissioner Scotty Shepherd (Stuck on Stupid)).............Leaves me SMH
When your commissioner informs you, he can't help you, because there is not enough officers to patrol an area that is gun and gang violent infested.......its time to "VOTE" him out and vote a more reliable and proactive official in and/or find someone who will.....Commissioner Shepherd shame on you. Give up the seat in favor of allowing your constituent/s to have representation and safety in their neighborhood...........shame, shame, shame.
People who think blacks aren't trying to deter/eradicate/ gang and drug violence, start putting the blame where it belongs and that is on county and city officials (mayor, sheriff department, and some of our elected officials) like Commissioner Scotty Shepherd.
Stop going to the mayor and commissioners non-productive twice a month meeting for answer, and organize the vote and your community.....be proactive. It appears Macon, GA government officials are not interested in protecting the "Black Community". I'm giving you this advice based on my experience with the majority of commissioners and the mayor. Bottom line, as long as our issues are marginalized by government officials expect the problems in Macon to get worse, not better.

This is an opportunity to focus on gun and gangs violence, or does violence only have to occur in your district before you are involved. Oh, I forgot the Confederate Monuments haven't stopped "you" from accomplishing your goal/s, but it appears to have stopped you from fulfilling your duties as an elected official.
Thanks once again Commissioner Virgil Watkins and former Mayor C. Jack Ellis for allowing the citizens (constituents) to come first..........just saying. I agree these problems will necessitate the involvement of both black and white, rich and poor, and old and young (all inclusive).
