Oh, What A Tangle Web We Weave.........When We Practice to Deceive

I went before Judge Faulkner in Macon Georgia as a witness concerning the cat problem I’ve written about that persist in my neighborhood.  First I would like to say what an enlightening experience it was for me.  Judge Faulkner impressed me as a just judge.  He patiently took the time to put everyone at ease who came before him.  I was impressed particularly with an indigent defendant who came before him that was meticulous questioned to determine whether or not he was able to pay his fine.  It was disclosed he was not, rather than burdening the defendant any further with a fine he obviously could not pay the Judge gave him community service work.  How cool is that to witness such astuteness and compassion from the criminal justice system.

My summons to appear in court came a few days before the court date of March 30th.   Before the summons I had put an open record request for citations and any information relevant to the cat problem (Lea Cilbrith) I had been reporting for years.  Discovered through this open record request she had a court date.  The summons was heaped in erroneous information.

Long and short of it, in satisfying my request as required  by law, they could only come up with one citation and one they needed to find.  Can you say sloppy record keeping and/or no record keeping or can you say no citations until ask.  Very suspicious, because I had been told all along citations (not one or two) had been issued to Lea Cilbrith.

Anyway, the reason Lea and I are in court is because she pleaded not guilty to city ordinance violation 5-12 (begin in control of animals) and I’m there as a witness.  Go figure.  She mention to the judge paper work related to efforts she had taken to have cats spayed and neuter.   That she  had only two cats, the reason why she allows her cat to roam off her property …….yada, yada.  I, in turn relayed to the judge, I just want her to keep the cats off my property and the expense I had been burden with because of the cats.

Do I need to tell you the 180 degree turn around Animal Welfare Director and her Assistant Director had in court?  They told the judge how they’ve tried to work with the both of us……..when all you need to do is read “SeeClickFix.com” to see how they handled the problem.  I’ve suspected and always have suspected they were too accommodating to Ms. Cilbrith.  In fact the day we are to appear in court is the day Lea Cilbrith (teacher) did not have to go to work.  The day to appear in court was the week of “Spring Break”.  How many “breaks” does she need……….. can you way WTF?

For all the people I sought help from, Lea Cilbrith, Macon Mayor Reichert and CSR, Sheriff Davis, Animal Welfare Director Adams, Animal Welfare Assistant Director Johnson, Animal Welfare Staff, and my precinct 3  who did nothing………justice was served in spite of.   Bottom line, Lea was fined (reduced fine) and it was implied in court she must be the “crazy cat lady” in the neighborhood.  Morrow of the story, oh, what a tangle web we weave…when we practice to deceive.

I don’t believe this is the end of this saga….stay tuned.

POC/Whites: Voting Against Your Own Interest

Low information or No Information voters?  It boggles the mind to witness Hillary capture the minds and hearts of so many voters.  I’m aware that most feel her opponent is not electable.  What makes him not electable in my opinion is people not electing him when they have the opportunity.  But more confusing than that, is the people who I talk with belief that Clinton will provide them the “pie in the sky”  they believe makes Bernie unelectable (offering a dream/free stuff).  Go figure.  People I talk with believe if Bernie is elected Congress would surely not act on any of his campaign promises, as they would Clinton’s campaign promises, if elected.  They believe the ACA is sustainable only if Clinton is elected.

The problem it appears, “they believe”, rather than doing the necessary homework to become “inform decision makers”.  Once a person is informed it’s difficult to become bamboozled/hoodwink.  Who you vote for is your business/choice, just make sure your integrity, principles, and character aren’t compromised in choosing your candidate.

Four More Years of the Same Old, Same Old.......Mayor Robert Reichert

I don't think so.

It’s a shame that my tax dollars doesn’t grant me the same privileges, perks, inside information that other taxpayers are privy to.  Mayor Reichert has focused his time in office on those areas that benefit the white community, and there is absolutely nothing wrong with him taking care of his own.  However, when it becomes a situation where it’s in your face and blatant disparity, everyone that lives in Macon, Georgia should be appalled and/or concerned, and rethink their vote.    When an elected official has been voted in office, his/her responsibility is to become the elected official of all…………even those who did not vote for him, even those who are not his constituents, even those who did not contribute substantial amounts of money to his campaign, and finally the least of them (poor and downtrodden).

I said in a post in the Macon Telegraph when he was running for office four years ago, and I will say it again, “he is not the mayor for Macon, Georgia”.  Do your research and see what and who he works for in the community.  His style of governing is dictatorship and anarchy.  I did my homework and below is what I found.

Tax Commissioner appointed without a vote, circumventing will of the people.

Collaborated with Mercer University to move blacks out of areas to accommodate whites.

Collaborated with The Knights Foundation to improve those area once blacks were removed.

Collaborated with businesses to revitalize the downtown area to cater to the white population.

Reichert has divided the people of Macon, as shown in his promotions and administrative staff.   His promotion of department heads in city/county government departments included one black. County Commissioners are right to demand a say in city government and void the city charter to avoid improprieties as the ones mention.  He has proven at the detriment of people of color that he is not a mayor for all.  His governing style over the years is a profound example of government lacking the skills to reflect the city in which it serves.  If we are to move Macon forward, we need to stand together as a people and elect a mayor for all the people

If you want your community (where you live) to be an oversight, vote Reichert.

If you want decisions about your community made by someone who do not know or address your struggles, vote for Reichert.

If you want someone once elected focus on the privilege, vote for Reichert.

If you want someone who only see the plight of poor people when he’s addressing an election’s platform,  vote Reichert.

If you want someone who’s making a career of being Macon’s mayor, instead of making a difference in Macon, vote for Reichert.

If you want a candidate who will enrich the elite, as he has been doing, off the backs of the poor in Macon (gentrification),  vote for Reichert.

If you want to be thought of as a non-thinker/gullible, opting for the same old, same old, vote for Reichert.

HRC’s Win in Iowa and the MSM…….I, I. I, I, I,I, I, I

Mainstream Media is as deceitful as Hillary Rodham Clinton.  That said, but really did not need to be said.  It’s a given.   What every voting age individual should consider when making a decision to vote for Hillary is not what is known or played out on television, but what is not known.  Hillary is not seeking the democratic domination to be president for the people, but the first woman president………a distinct difference.   Every time the Clintons has says they are in it to help others, has only benefited themselves.  Over the years they’ve perfected the shell game so well the American people have forgotten it’s a shell game.  The Clinton and mainstream media has broadcast lies to its viewers and voters with such skill, it appears that viewers and voters are so taken back by the skill that they forget their being lie to.

Hillary Diane Rodham Clinton has played the indignant, outrage, and it’s my turn cards so well that when she has lost in any situation we forget that’s what is happening.  It’s a game all about Hillary, not about the people who principle and values has been compromise by her.  What a sad commentary.

People voting rights are eroding, being manipulated, gerrymander, it is imperative that every contender for the president of these United States for our vote is scrutinize.  Hillary has ask that you vote with your head.  I too, ask you to vote with your head, and also your heart and consider what she is and is not in your decision.

What she is not:

She is not authentic
She is not interested in improving the lives of people of color, middle class, and/or poor people.
She is not one of us
She is not trustworthy
She is not all inclusive
She is not approachable……….

What she is:

She is phony
She is interested in improving the lives of the 1%.
She is the 1%.
She is a prevaricator
She is only interested in those who can elevate her to the top.
She is callous

If we are to break the glass ceiling ,lets not break it for women (first woman president), but for inequality.

I don’t get the appeal, the monotone answers to questions, the scripted answers to questions, the placating answer to question, and you still don’t get it.  Hillary is not genuine, She is just as fake as $20.00 knockoff Louis Vuitton.

Hell Has no Fury as a Citizen Dismissed

My closer look at Macon’s mayor, Robert Reichert, came about as a result of my neighbor's violation of Macon, Georgia’s city/county ordinance and the mayor’s dismissal of my citizen nuisance complaint.  Upon my neighbor (Lea Cilbirth/1012 Hillyer Avenue) initially moving into the neighborhood her cats had begun to come onto my property.  Leaving signs that it had come and gone by leaving its calling card.  I had discussed with her on numerous occasion my disdain for her cats.   My comments did not have the results I expected.  Her response was to suggest what I should to do to keep her cats out of my yard.  Such as sprinkling cayenne pepper in my yard, anti-cat web addresses brought to me to peruse, and she even had her companion to come down to argue her case.  The arrogance was illuminating and only anger me, but trying to be a good neighbor I listen to her suggestions.

After many years of going back and forth with her on this annoying issue, I contacted city/county government, they in return sent Macon’s city ordinance regulations and assured me my neighbor was in violation of the city ordinance.  Having that confirmation, I spoke with animal welfare who I had been speaking with all along, who gave me instruction on what I needed to do in order for them to issue citation/s, fine her, and eventually take her to court.  One thing I was ask to do was document each time her cat/s were on my property.  I followed their instruction to the “T” for a number of months, nothing happen.

I then phoned the city/county government’s customer service worker who wanted to schedule me an appointment to come in and talk to the mayor,  on the mayor designated night in for the citizens of Macon.   I didn’t believe it warranted a discussion with the mayor, so I declined/cancelled appointment.  The problem persisted so I gave in and scheduled the appointment after some coaching by his administrative secretary, who led me to believe if I wanted the problem resolved I needed to come in on his scheduled mayor's night in.  Which is a complete waste of a citizen times.  He only does it (it appears) for documentation purposes only.   I never/ever heard from him (personally) again after that first contact.  How self-absorbed can one be?

Bottom line, again following instructions, and absolutely nothing was accomplish.  By now I’m fuming, not angry, but fuming.  I began to send emails to the mayor, city/county commissioner, and staff of animal welfare, again nothing.  I did what experts’ state is the proper way to resolve conflicts (1) know your laws/rights (2) speak with the offender (3) contact proper authority (4) document your efforts, etc……to no avail.

I’m not suggesting by any means this is how to resolve conflicts, but what I’m suggesting is not to give up if you believe strongly you are in the right and the laws are on your side, and in some cases you may do everything right, and wrong seems to prevail.  The mayor and some of his staff demonstrated that they had no moral conscience and cared less about doing the right thing.  I believe they thought I would go far away, but I haven’t and I will not until this is resolved, not glazed over, not overlooked, not swept under the proverbial corrupt rug, but resolved.
Those e-mail communications I sent and received will be posted occasionally on this blog.

Lucas in Hot Water Over Gordon's Councilman 'slave' Comment

This is the headline by The Macon Telegraph staff writer/s Stanley Dunlap and Leigh Womack.  Articles such as this only divide and bring out race haters and baiters as indicated in the comment section of this article.    This story is a ruse to keep our community divided, at odds with each other,  and to disparage Commissioner Lucas.

If you fail to report the real offensive taking place in this community, I believe you have no right to report those stories that only demonstrate your biases.  If you cannot see the blatant gentrification and disparity perpetrated by city/county government and report on it, then it’s obvious who in the community should be appalled by whom.  What’s worse to be called a slave or treated as a slave on a daily bases by government hidden agenda?   If you want to fan the flames report on the communities that are ignored and why, write about the disparities in this community, write about the grants and loans available to a certain segment of the community and not others and why, write about……..

Macon-Bibb County government officials offend people every day with decisions that effect citizen's lives in a negative way.  What’s worse to be called a slave or to be treated as a slave on a daily bases by people you've elected to have your back?

The word slave has many connotations and interpretations.  The writers in this article and the people they talked with chose to use it in a way that would disparage Commissioner Lucas.   We still have racism,  we still have inequality, we still have people/businesses who discriminate, we still have people voting against their own interest, we still have people who try and divide a community, we still have people using the word Uncle Tom, we still have people using the word white rednecks/trailer trash/cracker, we still have people using the n-word and believing it’s okay or not caring one way or another.  Doesn’t make it right, but it never the less exist.  Why would reporters go out of their way and find stories such as this to report when there are so many noteworthy issues that plague our city which need to be address?  Leaves me SMH.

Just a few days later look what happens......

Opportunist and Hypocrites

If only the overseers (white privilege) were as incensed by WR Military Base offensive comments.   The commenters and naysayers are only opportunist and hypocrites.  They continue to believe to this day they can control what others say, think, and/or do.  Those days, people are long gone.

Macon GA Mayor Power Grab

Mayor Robert Reichert 's power grab has only brought attention to his lack of leadership.   Employees are only as good as the person who leads them.  It is no coincident that the new garbage collection and recycling operation has hit a bumpy road first time out of the gate.  He is trying to juggle too many issues at once, which only proves that government employees needs Macon District Commissioner involvement/input to counteract chaos.  It never has been a good idea to have one person in control of everything, especially when there are several departments as in this case.

His statement of the "best of the best" in his hiring of seven department heads with no input from city/county commissioners seems to be backfiring on him.  He appears to revel in these one sentence quotes such as the best of the best and no reason to fix a system that’s not broke.  Well, Mayor Robert Reichert it is broke and it does need fixing.

The people need to elect a new mayor who can discern when he/she is knee deep and when to relinquish some of their responsibility (power).

Customer Service.............What's That?

Customer Service is a lost entity and/or passing fad today.  I am amaze at the lack of professionalism and courtesy extended to buyers of goods, tax paying citizen and just the neighbor next door.  Every and I mean every, local government office and/or official I’ve contacted in the last year either ignores my correspondence (emails), blatantly lies to my face, is oblivious to what’s going on,  and/or plan just don’t care.   Some may say this an exaggeration, but in my experience lately in dealing with city- county government, restaurants, churches, etc.   I am absolutely appalled at the lack of concern shown by people who are working for a living, working for God, working for the public, working to survive.

I’ve read discussions in the news  of global concerns such as lack of competency of politician and people concern for our country well- being, but you really have to look no farther than your own backyard to find the same.    My mother had this saying when I was growing up, “clean up your own back yard, before you clean up someone else.”  This statement ringed true then and truly rings true today.   I welcome the day when people once again value people, customer service, neighbors, and their jobs.
